Recordati Romania has proudly joined the Romanian Diversity Charter, as we embrace diversity and an inclusive culture. We recognize the power of diverse backgrounds and perspectives and ensure everyone speaks up, shares their unique insights and assumes responsibility for our growth.
We embrace the idea that together we are better and believe that collaboration among individuals from diverse backgrounds leads to superior results. We believe that a diverse and inclusive work environment is good for our business and our people and contributes to position Recordati as a purpose-driven, meaningful, and trusted brand, company and employer.
“Our business is built around our clear purpose: Unlocking the full potential of life. At Recordati, we believe that our reason for being goes beyond just making a profit. We want to make a real difference in people's lives, to give them the opportunity to be the best version of themselves. We fundamentally believe that we can only fulfil our purpose and unlock the full potential of our company if we have a diverse and inclusive organisation. In fact, we see diversity and inclusion as a guiding principle of our working culture. We recognize the value of diversity, and constantly strive to create a safe and inclusive culture where everybody can be themselves and feel free to express their own ideas, particularly if they are unconventional, creative or innovative. For us, fostering and championing diversity and inclusion, and guaranteeing a psychological safe environment is not only the right thing to do. It is essential to our business success.”

About the Romanian Diversity Charter
The official launch of the Romanian Diversity Charter took place on April 18, 2018, making Romania the 21st country in the European Union to adopt a Diversity Charter and join the European Diversity Platform. Currently, the Charter has gathered 243 signatories, representing approximately 312,000 employees from companies, public institutions, and NGOs. These signatories have publicly committed to upholding the principles of the Charter, aiming to make diversity, equal opportunities, and social inclusion recognized and respected values in Romania. Under the guidance of the Charter, numerous initiatives have been implemented, including experience exchanges, workshops, debates, and learning and mentorship programs. Since 2021, the Charter and its signatories have jointly celebrated the EU Diversity Month, which aims to promote diversity in the workplace and society as a whole.
