Anchor Grup has signed the Romanian Diversity Charter

Anchor Grup, one of the strongest real estate players on the local market and the developer of the first modern shopping center in Romania - București Mall - promotes diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities at the workplace and signs the Romanian Diversity Charter, on the occasion of the European Diversity Month throughout the EU.

The Romanian Diversity Charter follows the existing successful models in other European states, and it is based on a set of general principles, voluntarily assumed with the aim of promoting diversity, non-discrimination, inclusion, and equal opportunities in the workplace. It aims to motivate signatory organizations to recognize and expand the benefits of integrating diversity into organizational and HR practices. By signing and assuming it, diversity acquires practical dimensions and becomes an integral part of the organizational culture.

The official launch of the Romanian Diversity Charter took place on April 18, 2018, making Romania the 21st country in the European Union to adopt a Diversity Charter and join the European Diversity Platform. Currently, the Charter has gathered 205 signatories, representing approximately 260,000 employees from companies, public institutions, and NGOs. These signatories have publicly committed to upholding the principles of the Charter, aiming to make diversity, equal opportunities, and social inclusion recognized and respected values in Romania. Under the guidance of the Charter, numerous initiatives have been implemented, including experience exchanges, workshops, debates, and learning and mentorship programs. Since 2021, the Charter and its signatories have jointly celebrated the EU Diversity Month, which aims to promote diversity in the workplace and society as a whole. For more information, visit
